Away Travel, an internationally renowned manufacturer-direct to-consumer luggage retailer based in New York City, was looking to open its first retail store in San Francisco. It needed a commercial construction firm that could provide the experience and expertise necessary to navigate the complex process of obtaining building permits in an unfamiliar location 3,000 miles away from their headquarters.
Away found just what it was seeking with CONCORE and its versatile and professional team. In addition to seamlessly securing the permitting for the project, CONCORE also assisted in the design of the space and overall management of the tenant improvement build-out. Improvements included polished concrete floors and custom-built cabinetry and store fixtures to provide a bright, modern and friendly space to showcase the retailer’s innovative luggage and travel accessories.
