CONCORE completed an interior alteration project at the Boys & Girls Club of Alameda, transforming an existing dojo/performance space into a modern Electronic Arts Studio designed to support creative, technology-driven youth programs.
The scope of work included construction of a new metal-framed partition to acoustically and physically separate the studio from the adjacent gymnasium, creating a dedicated and controlled environment for digital arts and performance activities. The project also incorporated new power and data infrastructure to support electronic equipment and creative technology, along with a new dedicated mechanical ventilation system tailored specifically to the studio’s operational needs.
Existing lighting systems were retained and integrated into the new layout to maximize efficiency and minimize disruption. Additionally, a new doorway was created to provide direct access to the adjacent Music Room, improving circulation and functional connectivity between creative spaces.
This project reflects CONCORE’s ability to deliver precise interior renovations within active community facilities—balancing constructability, performance requirements, and the mission-driven goals of youth-focused organizations.
