Lawrence Berekeley Lab Flexlab

CONCORE was selected to perform restoration work at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, supporting one of the most advanced building-performance research platforms in the world—FLEXLAB.

The project involved restoring multiple FLEXLAB buildings to their baseline interior condition to support ongoing and future research initiatives. CONCORE carefully removed existing interior finishes, flooring systems, and non-structural walls, returning the spaces to their original standards. New, specified ceiling systems were installed to meet performance, safety, and research requirements, all while maintaining the precision and care required in an active scientific research environment.

This work demanded close coordination, attention to detail, and strict adherence to institutional standards—ensuring the facilities were fully prepared for the next phase of advanced testing and innovation.
