The General Contracting team at CONCORE took over this project located in a small retail complex at the edge of the center of picturesque Mill Valley after the original general contractor departed the job. When CONCORE assumed management of the project the space was a skeletal warm shell with a minimal amount of wall framing and a small amount of HVAC duct work in place.
Although the project landed right in the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic, CONCORE worked through at every level. Additional job site requirements mandated by OSHA and local building authorities were strictly adhered to, with CONCORE striving to ensure that the project was completed swiftly and safely — regardless of restrictive virus mitigation parameters.
CONCORE installed two new Type I and Type II CaptiveAire commercial kitchen hoods equipped with a CORE Fire Suppression system. Additionally, a new fire sprinkler and fire alarm system was specified and installed, along with the completion of the HVAC duct distribution. Lighting and finishes throughout the space were also included in the project’s scope of work.
