Transformation of Old Tired Space Into New, Hip Dining Destination

All New Finishes • Rapid Project Completion

Modern Bar & Banquettes • Contemporary Pendant Lighting

Sushi Hon bistro, named from the Japanese word for “soul,” hired CONCORE on a design-build contract to renovate an old restaurant in the Mission District of San Francisco. CONCORE accepted the challenge by transforming the space into a hip and modern culinary destination, featuring bamboo walls, red banquettes, a black bar and contemporary pendant lighting.

CONCORE engaged and collaborated with the architect and engineers to provide the resulting contemporary design solutions and worked hand-in-hand with the client to secure financing prior to the build-out. The client was also able to benefit from CONCORE’s design-build services to stay within budget and obtain occupancy in just over a month’s time from commencing the project.
