And yes, even breathtaking. These words describe the Stony Oaks, the new affordable housing complex in Santa Rosa in the Southwest section of town. (See the aerial photo above). Concore Development Group was the construction manager (CM) for the project, acting as the key liaison between Meta Housing, the developer, and the construction team.
Among other vital CM tasks, Concore served as a quality-control specialist, communication manager, and key decision maker to keep the project on time and on budget. The 142-unit large family affordable housing project consists of four-stories and is located on a 4.39-acre site. Stony Oaks will house families and individuals earning between 30% – 60% of area median income.
The Stony Oaks is spacious and comfortable both inside and outside the formal community. There are 56 one-bedroom, 48 two-bedroom, and 38 three-bedroom units, which include fully-equipped kitchens and bathrooms. Onsite amenities include a community room, tot lot, fitness facility, central laundry room, on-site property manager and resident services with 185 surface parking spaces and 47 bicycle parking stalls. And notably, there are five parks within a five mile radius, affording residents plenty of outdoor areas to enjoy.
